A New Standard of Classical Training in the Hudson Valley
The 2026 WBC Summer Intensive marks the beginning of a new chapter in Westchester Ballet Company’s commitment to serious classical ballet training.
Rooted in tradition and guided by artistic purpose, this program offers young dancers an immersive and disciplined experience designed to deepen technique, strengthen artistry, and cultivate personal growth. This is not simply a summer activity. It is an immersive classical training experience for dancers who are ready to challenge themselves, grow with purpose, and deepen their artistry.
At the same time, we believe meaningful training does not exclude joy. Dancers will build friendships, develop confidence, and experience personal growth within a supportive and inspiring community. The discipline of ballet will shape them — not only as artists, but as individuals.
For families seeking an alternative to commercial studios and summer dance camps, WBC offers something different: depth, structure, mentorship, and artistic integrity.
Structured by Level, Designed for Growth
Dancers are initially placed according to age and training background to ensure appropriate challenge and progression.
Faculty reserve the right to adjust a dancer’s level as needed to ensure the most beneficial and safe training environment for each student.

Minimum 2 years of consistent ballet training
Level II
Ages 10–12
Minimum 3 years of ballet training, including pre-pointe
Level III
Ages 13+
Minimum 4–5 years of ballet training
Currently on pointe for at least one full year
Students may enroll in Week 1, Week 2, or both weeks. Two weeks are strongly encouraged for continuity and deeper artistic development.
