Thank You for Celebrating 75 Years with Us

On June 11, 2025, the Westchester Ballet Company gathered at Sleepy Hollow Country Club to celebrate a remarkable milestone, our 75th Anniversary. It was an evening filled with artistry, community, and purpose. Guests enjoyed a dazzling performance of Paquita by our dancers, as well as a special presentation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a tribute to our Artistic Directors’ 40-year legacy, featuring company members and guest artists.

The evening’s honoree, the extraordinary ballerina and advocate Ingrid Silva, shared her inspiring journey and emphasized the importance of visibility, representation, and access in the arts—values that deeply resonate with WBC’s mission. Her words reminded us why it matters that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to see themselves reflected on stage.

Executive Director Amy Harte spoke about how this mission drives everything we do at WBC—from providing free after-school ballet programs in local public schools to awarding scholarships and offering affordable performances. Our goal is not only to train dancers, but to create a more inclusive and vibrant community through the power of dance.

Thanks to your generosity and spirit, this was our most successful gala to date. Every dollar raised helps us expand access to high-quality ballet training and performances, offer free programs in public schools, and continue building an inclusive space where young dancers and audiences can thrive.

As you look through the photos and highlights below, we hope you feel the joy, the purpose, and the promise of what we are building together.

Here’s to the next 75 years, full of opportunity, inclusion, and excellence through dance.

Special thanks to Dominik von Jan and Rana Faure for the fine photography.
