Prepare for the 2025 Nutcracker auditions with Westchester Ballet Company’s immersive summer workshops! These sessions are designed to refine ballet technique, build performance strength, and introduce dancers to select choreography from WBC’s beloved production of The Nutcracker, choreographed by Beth Fritz-Logrea and Jean Logrea.

  • Sharyn Korey – Director of Casting and Rehearsals

  • Sabrina Lobner – Artistic Associate & Choreographer in Residence

📅 Workshop Schedules

Ages 6–9 (Weekdays: August 18–22 & August 25–29)

  • Ages 6–7: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
    Friday extended until 1:30 PM for in-studio parent demonstration

  • Ages 8–9: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–4:00 PM

    Tuition: $150 per week (15 hours of instruction)

Ages 10–18 (Weekends: August 16–17 & August 23–24)

  • Ages 10+ (non-pointe or < 2 years en pointe):
    Saturday & Sunday, 10:30 AM–1:30 PM

  • Ages 13+ (minimum 2 years en pointe):
    Saturday & Sunday, 2:00 PM–5:00 PM

    Tuition: $60 per weekend (6 hours of instruction)

Auditioning for Westchester Ballet Company’s Nutcracker is an exciting opportunity for dancers ages 6 to 18. Details for this year’s audition will be posted soon.

Annual Audition Schedule
Westchester Ballet Company welcomes young dancers from a variety of dance backgrounds and schools across the region. Open auditions are typically held in September, January, and March. While participation in the Company’s performances requires payment of participation fees, financial assistance is available to ensure accessibility, and dancers can also compete for merit-based scholarships offered during the fall and spring seasons.
