Sebastian Vinet to Adjudicate the 2026 WBC Scholarship Auditions

Westchester Ballet Company is honored to welcome Sebastian Vinet as adjudicator for the 2026 WBC Scholarship Auditions, to be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
Born in Santiago, Chile, Mr. Vinet began his training at the Escuela de Ballet del Teatro Municipal de Santiago on full scholarship. He later continued his studies at the Ben Stevenson Houston Ballet Academy before joining Houston Ballet in 2009 and, subsequently, San Francisco Ballet in 2010.
Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Vinet has performed principal and featured roles in works by renowned choreographers including Kenneth MacMillan, William Forsythe, Christopher Wheeldon, Helgi Tomasson, Stanton Welch, Mark Morris, Ben Stevenson, Demis Volpi, Val Caniparoli, and John Cranko. An internationally acclaimed principal guest artist, he has graced some of the world’s most iconic stages, including Madison Square Garden during a tour with Andrea Bocelli.
Mr. Vinet has appeared as a guest artist at prestigious galas and festivals across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Australia, and has served on the juries of international ballet competitions including the Prix de Lausanne (2020) and the Youth America Grand Prix. He himself was a Prix de Lausanne winner in 2009.
