IN-SCHOOL PROGRAMMING

In an exciting new partnership with United Way of Westchester and Putnam, Westchester Ballet Company is currently engaged, during the current academic year, in after-school ballet classes at Winfield L. Morse Elementary School (Tarrytown, NY), Highview Elementary (Greenburgh, NY), and Brookside Elementary (Ossining, NY).

These classes go far beyond dance training—they provide a space where children can build confidence, express emotions in healthy ways, and develop important social-emotional skills such as self-awareness, empathy, and perseverance. Ballet encourages discipline and focus while fostering creativity, collaboration, and a sense of belonging. In this supportive environment, students of all backgrounds and abilities learn basic dance technique, stretching exercises, and choreography. Classes are led by a team of professional dancers and dance educators with support from teenage assistants from Westchester Ballet Company.
