Amy Harte
Executive Director

Amy joined the Westchester Ballet Company Board of Directors in 2018, became President in 2019, and was appointed Executive Director in 2025. Her work has focused on developing digital tools and operational workflows that support the company’s growth and long-term sustainability. She has also prioritized expanding community engagement, building partnerships with other Westchester nonprofits, and drawing on the expertise of the ballet company’s board members to help shape the organization’s future.

Amy previously served on the Board of Directors of the Peekskill Downtown Business Improvement District and was Vice President from 2013 to 2015. She also served as Director of Public Relations for the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of New York, where she led fundraising initiatives, organized events, and developed workshops focused on board governance, security, and U.S.–Japan trade relations. Prior to that, she spent three years in Japan as an English teacher through the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program in rural Shimane Prefecture, followed by a year in Kyoto working as a translator for Hoei Senni Co., Ltd.

Much of Amy’s professional career has centered on creative direction and entrepreneurship as the founder and owner of 3&Co., a boutique design studio specializing in books, branding, packaging, typography, copywriting, and digital communications. Her clients have included Nonesuch Records, Universal Records, Jessica Seinfeld, Barnes & Noble, Simon & Schuster, Random House, and Penguin Books.

Amy is a graduate of Brown University and the American School in Japan. She is the mother of two grown children and lives with her husband in Briarcliff Manor.
