Chloe Singer
Chloe Singer began her dance career with Valentina Kozlova (New York City Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet) in Manhattan, New York. She attended George Mason University where she earned a BFA in Dance Performance & Education. Since graduating, Chloe has performed on and off Broadway in works of various esteemed New York-based choreographers such as David Neumann, Chase Brock, James Kinney, and Sabrina Lobner. Her theater credits include La Traviata (Seattle Opera, Lyric Opera of Kansas City) Die Schweigsame Frau (The Fischer Center), & Le Jazz Hot (Broadway Backwards). When she’s not performing or teaching dance, Chloe works as a behavior therapist for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is expected to complete her masters in Applied Behavior Analysis by Spring 2026. In addition to her role as a Teaching Artist with WBC, Chloe is the Program Director for WBC’s Born to Move—Dance for Youth Well-being program. Chloe also guests with the Company.

Luz Iturbe
Luz has joined the faculty of WBC, where she leads classes in Born to Move—Dance for Youth Well-being.

An Afro-Latina dance educator and performer from Puerto Rico, Luz began her training at the Escuela de Bellas Artes de Carolina, Ballets de San Juan, and Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico before continuing her studies in the Dance Theatre of Harlem’s Professional Training Program. Her performance career spans classical, contemporary, and commercial dance throughout Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Panama, and the United States.

Luz holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a certificate in entrepreneurship from the University of Puerto Rico, as well as a master’s degree in dance education from Towson University. She is trained in Cuban ballet methodology and is an ABT® Certified Teacher in Pre-Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. She has taught at respected schools in New York, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., gaining extensive experience working with diverse student populations and nurturing their technical, artistic, and personal growth.

Her teaching philosophy is grounded in inclusive, culturally responsive dance education that celebrates diversity and creates a supportive environment in which every student can thrive. As a published writer and presenter, Luz advocates for greater diversity and accessibility in ballet, helping to ensure that dance remains a transformative art form for people of all backgrounds and communities.


Cooper Everson
Cooper is a New York City based freelance artist who combines his years of classical training and professional work with his adept contemporary ability. Beginning his training in his home of Northeast Connecticut, Everson studied tap, jazz, contemporary, ballet, hip hop, and partnering and earned scholarships and awards through organizations such as NYCDA, NUVO, JUMP, and Dancers Inc. 

Everson shifted his focus to classical ballet after joining Orlando Ballet’s trainee program in the fall of 2015. He went on to study under the directorship of Mariaelena Ruiz and Heather Iller of the Cary Ballet Conservatory. Everson performed with the Cary Ballet Company as a principal artist in The Nutcracker and many original works. Upon completing his training at Cary Ballet Conservatory, Everson moved to Columbus, OH to join BalletMet as a member of their second company, BalletMet II. Everson performed in numerous works by the company’s then artistic director Edwaard Liang, and guest choreographers such as Alexander Ekman and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa. 

Everson returned to Cary Ballet to join their staff as a contemporary coach, choreographer, and conditioning teacher. He had the absolute pleasure of coaching the students of the PTP program and Cary Ballet Academy, and created numerous works for their seasons competing at YAGP and ADC/IBC.

In the winter of 2022 Everson transitioned to living in New York City where he now performs, works in dance education, is a Certified Personal Trainer in affiliation with The American Council on Exercise, and is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique. Everson has been enjoying jumping from stage to stage performing with companies and creators such as The International American Ballet, The Lexington Ballet, American Liberty Ballet, Conflux Dance Theatre, Dance Theatre of Jacksonville, Venus Williams, Wilmington Conservatory of Fine Arts, and many more. 

Cooper is a WBC guest dancer, leads WBC Adult Ballet classes, teaches in our United Way Afterschool Ballet program, and provides coaching in WBC rehearsals.

Elisa Toro Franky
Elisa is a professional dancer, teacher, choreographer, and bilingual voice actress based in New York City, has astounded audiences worldwide in works that integrate ballet, tango, ballroom, and Middle Eastern styles. She is currently a member of SAG-AFTRA. Elisa performs as a principal dancer with FJK Dance and a featured artist with Accent Dance NYC, Christopher Caines Dance, and Dardo Galletto Dance. With FJK Dance, Elisa traveled on a 31-city tour of China in 2017 and currently performs in the company's annual seasons at New York Live Arts. In 2024, she performed with Dell'Arte Opera Ensemble in the role of Anna II in The Seven Deadly Sins. Elisa also worked as Program Director at Accent Dance NYC (2018-2020). 

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Elisa trained with mentors from the Cuban National Ballet School. She trained at the Miami City Ballet School and went on to dance with the Washington Ballet Studio Company, the Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble, and the New Jersey Ballet. Currently, Elisa is not only an artist but also a mother, having given birth to her daughter in February of 2025.

Elisa has guested with WBC for many years. She is a leader in the studio, and currently teaching in WBC’s Born to Move—Dance for Youth Well-being program.


Fiona McKiernan

Fiona McKiernan began dancing at Scarsdale Ballet and On Hudson Dance in Westchester, NY. She then trained in NYC, spending four years at Steps On Broadway’s pre professional program and one year at Manhattan Youth Ballet. She was a student at The Ailey School Scholarship Program, after which she was a trainee in the inaugural programs of both Complexions Contemporary Ballet and New Jersey Ballet. She is now dancing in the corps of Carolina Ballet and spending the 2026 summer months with WBC, leading Born to Move—Dance for Youth Well-being classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
