WBC—once again partnering with United Way of Westchester and Putnam—offers after-school ballet classes at Winfield L. Morse Elementary School in Sleepy Hollow; Highview Elementary in Greenburgh; Brookside Elementary in Ossining; and Tappan Hill Elementary in Tarrytown.

In these supportive after-school classes, students of all backgrounds explore basic dance technique, stretching, and choreography—while also building confidence, healthy emotional expression, and core social-emotional skills like empathy and perseverance. Ballet promotes discipline and focus, but also creativity, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging.

Enrollment has grown from just 10 students to more than 100+ in only three years. We’re eager to see how many new dancers will join us as the program continues to flourish.
