Mariana Ljuljdjuraj

Mariana has served on WBC's Board since 2018 and is currently the Board Secretary and Chair of the Resource Development Committee, which focuses on fundraising and developing sponsorship strategies for the ballet company.

Mariana has a B.S. degree in biology from SUNY Albany and has worked most of her career in finance. She currently works for WPP, one of the largest communications companies in the world, where she is responsible for providing professional governance support to the WPP Board of Directors and assuring the company stays in compliance with both regulatory and statutory requirements particularly in relation to requirements regarding WPP’s listings (on the London Stock Exchange and New York Stock Exchange).

Mariana is passionate about WBC and committed to helping it thrive and continue to be a special and meaningful experience for future dancers from our local communities. Her daughter Saranda danced with WBC for many years.
